What is Clean Energy Friends?
Clean Energy Friends helps you connect with voters you already know for the SRP (Salt River Project) board election. Sync your contacts to discover which of your friends, family, and neighbors are eligible voters.
How does contact matching work?
When you sync your contacts, phone numbers are converted to secure one-way hashes before being sent to our server. We match these hashes against our voter database (which also uses hashed phone numbers). Your actual contact names and details never leave your device - only the hashes are used for matching.
What data do you collect?
Can I use the app without syncing contacts?
The contact sync feature is optional. However, without it, you won't be able to see which voters you already know personally.

SRP is a public utility serving over 1 million customers in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Board members are elected by landowners in the service area.
